Tejas Street

Either late night 11/21 or early am 11/22 someone tampered with the electrical boxes @ two residences on Tejas Street. Thursday morning, two homeowners next door to each other discovered that their electrical boxes had been opened and pushed back so they would stay open. One box was located in the backyard, the other on the side of the house. Dogs were reported barking in the area about 2:30am. You may want to secure your breaker box with a padlock. A few years ago, in Houston, bad guys would turn off breaker boxes and when homeowner's went out to trip their breakers, they would be robbed. The holiday season is upon us and the crooks will be looking for easy targets.

Shoshone & unknown location

A male student exited the bus on Shoshone, crossed to his side of the road, and when he got near his entryway, a hispanic male had exited from a small black vehicle that had stopped behind the bus and come onto student's property. H/M then began yelling at student, "What did you say?", when student told him he didn't know what he was talking about the H/M stuck him in the chin with his right fist, then slapped the back of his head with his left hand, then ran back to the vehicle and left. H/M was appx. 5'9", wearing baggy clothes, has slight moustache, blue jeans, white jacket with blue stripe around the sleeve. Pct. 3 Constable was called to the scene and report filed. It is believed the suspect is a student at RSS.

A resident on Broken Arrow reported a female came to her door after the RSS bus had dropped students off demanding to talk with the high school boys at her location. She advised she had no children that age. The female told her that her son had exited the bus, several boys jumped him and beat him up, they fled in a mid-size white car. The female thought the resident's vehicle parked on the street was the getaway vehicle. It is unknown if this incident was reported to law enforcement.

7800 block Tejas @ Pochahontas

Two black males were observed in the 7800 block of Tejas peering through the windows of a car parked in a homeowners driveway.  A comment was made how it would be an easy task to complete, when one of the neighbors walked down their driveway and the two suspects then walked back over to the intersection of Tejas @ Pocahontas and a dark colored Cadillac pulled up, they entered and drove away.  It is possible the neighbor stopped a car burglary or car theft from happening.   Please lock your car doors, do not leave your garage door openers or valuables inside the vehicle.
